If you want everything equal every year then lets just abandon the entire perpetual leagues and play 160 game launch leagues with a new draft every spring.

If this game turns into the NFL where every team is constrained to have the exact same PB value then all the good owner will leave.

If you make the value too low then you are mandating that every team have the same PB value +/- 10% or so. There are some cases where two players have virtually the same stats and have different PB value. So in an NFL style system the guy that has Ramon Ortiz gets screwed because his PB value is twice as much as the guy with A.J. Burnett even though their ratings are similar.

The amount of socialism on this bulletin board is sickening. I have been relatively quiet so far. But now I'm going on record.... I oppose any cap below 130%, although I believe that I will be forced to live with one.

But If Purebaseball EVER implements a cap that is LOWER than 120% then I commit to drop all of my Traditional Teams on the spot. At that point I will either pick up enough Real Time Teams to satisfy my appetite or I will just retire altogether.
