I would say to keep things the way they are. If managers in general deal with each other appropriately you should have little to do but approve the trade. If not, you should do your thing and either question or reject it. We need to accept your authority on the matter and move on. Really, having a committee is like instituting instant replay for our leagues. Nobody really likes it and it takes too long to come up with a decision. Appoint a backup for times when you cant decide on a trade in a timely manner. Otherwise, keep on trucking.
