I would like to take a stab at the bit on what players are active and what players are farmed.

You asked why Damon Buford and several other players would be on a roster ahead of Finley or Tucker.
I suspect that the guy plans to platoon Buford with someone else and Buford is VERY effective against lefty pitching. Compared to the normal level of available talent in a launch league Tucker is extremely ineffective and Finley's main value IMHO is as a defensive player (his offense is moderately acceptable vs. RHP and unacceptable vs. LHP).
