Let me get this straight
Are you saying that if a team is rebuilding and offers a veteran star for two or three young potential stars, Mike should disallow the trade because somehow "everyone" knows that those two or three potential stars will definately work out and the guy taking the veteran is only making the deal because he's an idiot and only knows a handful of players' names. What if I am making a run and have everything in place except a decent catcher and offer two or three young guys that will likely be great down the road but are little help now for a proven veteran catcher whose numbers help right away. Are you saying I shouldn't be allowed to do this? How would teams with a few veterans and nothing else ever rebuild?
