The real reason we all get so worked up about this game is that it is what we expect from a sim game. It allows you to experience what we all wish we could really be in MLB (manager,owner,Steinbrenner). Yes, the game has some tweaks that need to be worked out by the "powers that be"; but I love that the they treasure baseball as much as I do and that they do their best to make this game as realistic as possible (for a sim game). I was invited by a long time manager two seasons ago and since I have been completely engrossed in this game. Plus I have gotten another to join. I wouldn't have joined or invited anyone else (my girlfriend's brother)if I didn't think this was THE best sim game around. If I could find a better game I'd join it; but I don't see anything out there that even comes close to what we have here. That includes the quality of the game, system management, and especially players. I have never seen so many people so intense about a fantasy game, and I love that. If anything we should be paying more for what we get. I play other "online games" but always end up spending more time on this website than any other, and that is by choice. My hat is off to Purebaseball, thanks for the hours of entertainment you bring me.

P.S. Odd idea, increase monthly payments but give money back for making the playoffs. The further you get in the playoffs, the more money you get. That might bring in more managers. It seems most fantasy baseballs people only want to play for money so that might lure more business. But I can also see it reducing the quality of players that PB receives. I would welcome any response, even at my own expense. PLAY BALL
