In 2000 we started the rookie draft on 4/20. In 2001 we started on 4/26. I think its better that way. It's more fun to be playing when the season's playing. Waiting 8 weeks to get the season started is frustrating, and I believe that the reason we went later last year was because of outside factors, not because anyone preferred it.
