5/22 is cool, even earlier would be better, reasons: you got to do your homework and make good judgment on rooks and middle relief. Stats at this point for a player in MLB may be great, but one bad outing and great looks terrible. If you choose a player, based on potential, and at draft time get them even though said player is stinking it up in MLB or worse is back in minors, but with time this player reaches his potential, the astute owner should be rewarded for their efforts in scouting well. It's dissapointing that when MLB player is doing well 1/4 to 1/3 of the way through the MLB season and someone who doesn't scout well lucks out due to a good to great start by this player.
More importantly, last seasons late start turned the last several PB months into Traditional type play, taking a lot of risk out of making moves or playing whom in what games.
