Wishful Thinking Steve
Recruit new managers... would be great, but when the RT leagues chronically have 5 vacant teams, then it's time to contract them. Twenty team leagues worked fine for leagues R1 to C16 since 1990. I don't know why anyone would be opposed to cutting four teams if they've been vacant since last season. MLB should contract about 4 teams. Last time I checked, Detroit didn't have a guy hitting over .200 in it's starting lineup. Tampa and Milwaukee are pathetic. All the result of not enough talent to go around the league. Same situation here. New recruits are not going to take some of these vacant teams with no talent rosters.
