Draft Late. Start early
In 99, the Rookie draft started 5/04. The first games were 5/20; only 2 weeks later. Last year the draft started 5/14, but the games didn't get undeway 'til 6/6. If it can be accomplished in 2 weeks, and I think '99 demonstrates that it can, let's draft 5/5; play 5/19
