I think winning day in day out is much more impressive than winning it all. Some team must win the World Series - however no team must win 110+ games. Of the two, dominating on a daily basis is much harder.

I think managers that believe they know how to build a playoff winner are kidding themselves. Too much luck is involved in the playoffs - even for the winningest teams.
