This is a first pass at coming up with a manager ranking system for Pure Baseball. Since we would love user input to improve the system, we will explain the formula that we used to come up with the rankings.

Each Team was given a score. 50 pts. for making the playoffs, 25 points each for an LCS victory or a championship. So a championship team has a base score of 100 pts. Since that would leave a bunch of teams with the same score, we added a factor of regular season wins. Basically we took a playoff teams regular season wins, divided them by 20, and added that figure to the team score. If your team did not make the playoffs, we just took the regular season wins, and divided by two. That way every team got a score.

After that, we added each managers team scores together, and divided by the number of each managers teams. This gave us a Raw Managers score.

We then took this Raw score, and factored it across the various leagues, to come up with a league strength factor. This factor was multiplied back into each team score, and the Managers Score was then re-calculated. Did you follow all of that? Questions, comments, or suggestions should be sent to The Commish.
