The original plan was to have a sliding gradation of stats so that the early stat power mentioned below on the board could be eliminated.
Unfortunately we have to live with the game such as it is (still the best RT SIM game in town and possible the only one?) until we attract more managers (more on that epic also on this board).
Because of John Meredith's schedule (he started a new job in a new city last month) we have been forced to accept a start similar to last year's despite a very strong desire to start sooner.

Right now we are looking at a 4/22 rookie draft, 4/29 FA draft and season start on either 5/1 or 5/8.

I prefer the 5/8 start to give teams with roster problems time to trade, get INN etc.--but will ask for input on this in another post. Please keep in mind that these dates depend on John's available time as much as our desire to get going.
