Is it me, or when you join a league a great number of "existing" owners take you for a moron? It seems whenever I have joined a league, I get some really offensive, low-ball offers for players. Not all of the owners do this, but a fair share. More than I would expect in any case.

Recently, I posted a need for an innocuous position player. Expecting to get a fair response, I instead get offered a stiff player (player A) for someone who had a down and injured 1998 (player B). Player A had a down 1998, an injured 1998, and prospects for a return to full-time duty in 1999 seem limited. Player B was outstanding in 1997 (like player A), injured and down in 1998, but with a potential big comeback in 1999. Does anyone else get ridiculous offers like this???
