Plain and simple: If you don't like it, then don't play it. I have an extremely busy schedule and I still find time to research minor leaguers and such because I enjoy it - that's what makes our drafts more fun. In fact, if the rookie draft was just a little sooner, it'd be perfect. For exmaple - you'd probably get a guy taking a flyer on an Albert Pujols who had a decent spring in the 3rd-5th round of the rookie draft. Whereas, it must take a real brain surgeon to turn around and pick him up a year later in a traditional league. I'm not trying to start a war between the types here, but they have their own flavors - if you don't find them fun, then don't play.
