Different Game
I am no expert, believe me. I take my hits in Real Time but basically it's a different game than traditional. In Traditional, you look at what guys did and pick the guys who you think will help you most. In Real Time, you need to predict what guys are going to will do in the future, what guys will get consistent playing time, etc. Real Time takes more effort and is just not for some people. If you don't want to put in the time, Real Time may not be for you. I like it because it gives me an excuse to pour over box scores and stats and make my own predictions as to what will likely happen. Traditional doesn't provide that. I'm against contraction altogether. I like the 24-team leagues because it is more of a challenge to field a competitive team. 5 or 6 unmanaged teams does present problems but I'd be more inclined to eliminating a league and have those owners in that league migrate over to available teams in other leagues than to reduce to 20 teams. Just my preference.
