my last reply was very quickly wrote as i was
leaving for work. my only interest and point i was
trying to make was getting imput for all owners
old and new to try in a fair way to keep all teams
competive for most of the season.
and there is no way a team or teams can be competive
if a couple of their best hitters and or pitchers
are left in the minors for a prolonged period of time.
that why i came up with the idea of using purebaseballs
players value as a starting point.
if a player is one of the best at his position and
has enough at bats or inning pitched to stay on the
active roster all season and help your team win. for
what logical reason would you send these players
to the minors ? as i mentioned before this would only
impact the top percentage of players at their position.
only players with very high purbaseball value. this idea
surely needs refined.its just a starting point to open
a mature discussion on this subject.not to throw darts and
arrows at other owners.i believe this is the "discussion forum".
