Is major league baseball watered down? Yes to some extent. Is that the reason the attendance is down. NO WAY. Look at the recent boom in minor league ball. Many minor league teams regularly fill out their stadiums, and those are lower quality players. I belive there are many reasons attendance is down. 1) Inequality of team salaries which leads to an extreme lack of balance. 2) Game is too long. Get the game down to 2 1/2 hours. 3) Multimillion dollar cry babies.
