Even if MLB is watered down, were using 80% of the players.
Even if MLB is watered down, were using 80% of the players in 24 team leagues. Throw in the fact that we get 110% of innings pitched plus 105% atbats, then we are actually only using 75% of the players in a 24 team league. That should remove the watered down players.
Having a guy hit .200 in your lineup isn't the worst situation, just make sure he is very good defensively(and that he isn't you DH).
20 teams leagues are using only 66% of the players, with an actual of around 62%.
We have people that cry that stats aren't accurate, no wonder, you are only using 62% of the players for 20 team leagues.
I wish all leagues were 24. This would give the closest statistical game available.
Lastly, who cares if we have unmanage teams. The robot submits lineups and plays games (sometimes even better than us owners). With trades now available, it shouldn't matter anymore if Joe Schmo runs the team, or if its managerless.
