Let me join in this without getting a barrage of negative replies. Well you can't compare today's attendance to years ago. You have so many more teams. of course those figures will be higher today. I decided to look at tonight numbers Saturday May 18. I looked at the lesser teams home games tonight. Brewers 16,000, Indians & O's about 22,000 each. Then I looked at Royals who are have a great season so far. 25,000. In each case about half the seats empty and in Milwaukee, two thirds of the seats empty. It was 73 degrees in two of those cities and 63 in the other. So weather was not an issue. In my opinion, not very good attendance figures for a weekend games.
