Baseabll attendance is down 4.8% this year on top of the 6% drop in 2002.Atlanta down 21%, Yankees down 16% Mariners down 20% Brewers down 30.5 %, Indians down 30.7. Can't blame the weather in all these cities, especially Milwaukee. You can say its the ticket prices, bad baseball or the economy. But 10.8% is a hell of a lot of fans to lose. As a kid, I can't recall parks being empty in the 70's, one of the worst economic times of our nation, with f 18% interest rates, gas shortages and on of the worst inflation periods in history.
