The way ownership has jerked the fans and players around in KC the last few years, is it any wonder there are "only" 25,000 fans in the seats?
Selig and the boys have bashed their own product mercilessly in an effort to exact concessions from the players for years.
And people are supposed to be excited about that product?
KC is a team that has hope, but it's doubtful the bean-counting SOB who owns them will do anything to hold those players together or go out and get help for them in July if they're still competing.
In that city, as in many, it takes awhile to (re)build credibility.
