The trade that really looked lopsided to me was J.T. Snow/Greg Zaun for Aaron Boone,Teixeira,Larue.

You must really like J.T. Snow. I don't.

To me Zaun is a part time player though a good platoon guy but still pretty limited value. Boone is proving to be a star and Teixeira has a big upside...I'd much rather have him than Snow. I wouldn't trade either Boone OR Teixeira for Zaun & Snow if your threw in Stynes.

As for the first trade, I think it is tough to get proper value for Bonds; but if I had him I wouldn't trade him without getting what I thought his value was worth...and that is a ton. I don't agree though with your evaluation of the trade totally because I happen to like Juan Encarnacion (and just traded for him so I hope he proves out). I don't think the trade offer is as far off as you seem to, but I probably would want a little Mohr...I mean more...because Mohr looks pretty hot right now.

To me the trade is Bonds, Mohr, Washburn for Boone, Encarnacion, and Floyd (+Seo?).

Not a bad trade, but I'd rather keep Bonds.
