How do you know this? I did not see it anywhere in the manual. However I suspect you could be correct. In an extra inning road game completed just this week the robot used my closer B Wagner for 5 innings (17 batters)even though his max BF is 8. The robot then relieved with short reliever S Karsay. Wagner gave up only one hit. I have no way of determining if the hit was to the last (17th) batter he faced but that would be consistent with your explanation.
