I would approve it, given the mediocre year Eckstein has had. He had the one very promising year last year, but is really not an ideal leadoff man this year. He's reduced to an average or slightly above average middle infielder.
The other guys are in the same category. The trade is likely to be equitable, depending on the relative needs of the teams involved.
