You're right. SLOB is the stat I was talking about in my first post. It's reported each April in the Wall Street Journal.

This year's edition identified the major-leaguers with the worst SLOBs. The worst 5 are Rey Ordonez (.083), Desi Relaford (.099), Brian Hunter (.099), Alex Gonzalez (Toronto)(.101), Makr Lewis (.108).

Compare this with a sample I've calculated (PB stas as of 4/27): Derek Jeter (.429), Chili Davis (.361), Tony Gwynn (.270), Chuck Knoblauch (.230), Mark McGwire (.228).
