Not silly
We all disagree on trades at times, but Guillen is not a replacement level SS, at least not next year. He'll have injury time, but he'll also have an OBP over .360 in a park that limits his numbers, and if he plays the rest of the seaosn will hit 450 PAs. His numbers in the game might equal a .800 OPS under normal cricumstances.
They may have been equal picks at the start (all similar round players) but next year Guillen would not be a 2nd round FA pick and the two pitchers might not get picked at all.
