I've spoken to Tim via email, and his points have much merit. Sometimes a trade needs to get done, and sometimes only one team will trade with you. You might even get screwed a bit, but since you didn't have other options, what can you do.

The perfect plan would be this:

If you could show to Mike that you had posted the players league wide, and had no takers, then shown this was your best offer, then it should go through. Even better would be to allow the commish of each league to step in and allow the deal taking off the pressure.

Since we aren't dealing with perfection, I'd recommend the following:

Have both owners comment here on the boards, not being critical of the decision making, but explaining their views on why the deal should go through (such as Tim A did with his comments).

Then do one of the following:

Resubmit the deal exactly as it was layed out the first time, or pad one side of the deal with a lower draft pick. Try a 4th and resubmit, if it doesn't go through, try again with a 3rd, etc.
