Same reason my Roger Clemens has a 5.89 ERA in Trad league, pitching in Toronto. I know he had a mediocre year (for him) in 2002, but this is ridiculous. Maybe the bad memories of Toronto affect him.

Part of the reason this game is fun is the randomness, and the fact that Park Effects and the Defensive ratings of the players behind a pitcher affect his performance, but it's enough to drive you crazy!
