Northern Storm, Pacific Force, same Owner? What is the deal. What is the purpose of managerl;ess trades? Give me the operating principal. I was under the impression that: the teams were to be made more attractive to new players, young talent wouldn't be traded by managerless teams, managerless teams should have the trades tilted in their favor, and league balance would be maintained.

I offered a first rd rookie,a second rd rookie and Fred Mcgriff for Frank Thomas. I realize Thomas is having a monster year; is 37 to McGriff's 40. But last year the trade of the two players would have been percieved as even. Next yewar, if Fred is healthy, who knows? with the two picks, I didn't think the trade too out of whack. My concern was thew possible impact this year on league balance. When the trade didn't pass muster I wasn't surprised.

But the trades that are pulled off in this league I find extremely puzzling. If my name was Stuart, owuild any deal I threw out pass muster?
