Collusion??

Posted By Bob C

This is in response to an earlier thread concernig two individuals who trade primarily with each other in G-4, 98T2, 99RT3. While these trades are large and often hard to judge (Don I see your point), it appears, at least in my opinion, that the Arizona based team seems to get the better of the deal over the Florida based team more oftern than not. If this were collusion, I would expect that one team would profit in one league in exchange for help in another. This appears not to be the case. Could it be that one manager is simply a better judge of talent than the other? As for two managers who trade frequently and almost exclusively, perhaps they are friends or have some other source of contact outside PB which allows them to talk frequently. I am a frequent trader and I trade more with some managers than others simply becasue they respond promptly to inquires(which many managers do not) or because they are simply easier to trade with. I agree with Don and think there is enough here that Mike B should take a closer look but let's not assume either manager is guilty of doing something underhanded. For the record, I do not know either manager and have never played in a league with either manager.
