I agree
For all the customer issues, and there are many frustrations, the game itself is excellent. I spent three years rebuilding a team into what I believe will be a regular contender, and, now that the games mean something, I get a ton of pleasure playing them. The team that I am still rebuilding, I love following my prospects develop and love the trading/drafting aspects of building the team.
On trading with Mike S. I am a pretty active trader and enjoy it a lot. Mike is an unbelievably active trader. He seems to enjoy the negotiating process more than me. Occasionally, he sends me an offer I consider insulting because it seems to assume I am a moron. Once or twice, I posted such an offer here to nicely let him know how I felt about the offer. However, I have managed to pull off several big trades with Mike that I hope end up helping both teams. I appreciate having someone who is willing to trade so much in the leagues and someone who is willing to move big names. Mike can't force anyone to make a deal they don't want to make and is an asset to the leagues. Plus, I would never suspect him of collusion.
On collusion: This is a huge deal. I have looked at a few of the deals between the two owners in question and they are so complicated they make my head hurt. Something stinks. If the owners won't address it, Mike should and let everyone know that he believes everything is on the up and up. BTW -- if there is true collusion going on (or if one owner has two teams in the same league) it would not be hard to make trades, especially absurdly large trades, look reasonable enough to get approved while still cheating and allowing one team to fill all its holes.
