You almost need to decide whether you want an overwhelming pitching staff or an overwhelming offense.
Rarely in a onetime draft like Launch Leagues can you have both. You also need to consider your park effects pretty carefully.
I've seen teams win with second level pitching and good relievers if they have a strong offense. The reverse is also true--teams with awesome pitching and players who have good defensive ratings but are second level on offense do well.
