Diamond Mind Vs Purebaseball. When it comes to some details, draft and raw play purebaseball is a better game but when it comes to everything else Diamond mind offers more. cheaper, offers more types of leagues year round even chat rooms and best of all if you loose interest in one league you can move to another and step in to a whole new situation while playing same game. as it is here not many options and all leagues are controlled by same guy Bravard, so where are you going to go? Brian B make a good point, some of you invested many years building teams up plus PB is a great game that should be supported so don't give up but I am suggesting you keep some options open if you love sims games and Diamond Mind would be just that. Purebaseball could counter that by offering Launch leagues during the off season to owners for free which would somewhat compensate poor service. I've read many of your post: Tim a, Rob E, Don H, Perry W, Jon, Stuart, Chuck, jlf, Tim S, Hart and the Dave(s) your request for better service is warranted but your hope things will change lacks the ability to see the big picture from Bravard perspective. Online sims games is a very competitive business that would take a financial backer. Bravard doesn't have the money or MOTIVATION. Lets be honest, as long as there are some good teams somebody will own them, some question of weather owners will have the motivation to bother with a uncompetitive team which appears to be the case as unmanaged teams are slowly mounting. Fact is Bravard is making a nice income from what appears to be a part time job or hobby, at least enough to assure purebaseball to stay around just not quite enough to assure good service let alone hope for future improvements, meaning programing needed to fix problems along with keeping things running on schedule. Speaking of schedule and where the problem stems from, its safe to assume Bravards schedule works in this order-has a life, other job, runs the business aspects of Purebaseball then after that whatever time he has left in the week would be used to address purebaseball owners interest countless things like returning emails, validating trades more accurately, turning things on/off setting things up......now are you seeing the big picture? Problem is owners want to be tops on his schedule but Bravard has no motivation to put you guys ahead of things that is more beneficial to him because effort is not worth the reward. its entertaining to read your request as is to read his responses knowing he is just blowing smoke involving future promises for example recently collusion debate. Look closely at his response and action taken to the collusion; I am basing this on Bravards "secret email" to Ken G. Bravard has concluded there was collusion that he took action by messaging them not to trade future wise. Anthony's seems to be the only one to bring up the obvious...this did not take care of the problem, he did nothing to reverse the trade WHY WAS THAT? Problem is not owners offer bad trades or owners sign bad trades that will continue to be the case but that Bravard has approved them. only exceptable response for him to message owners his apology for letting that slip past him and for him to correct mistake by reverse trade, A promise to be more watchful over future trades, true blowing smoke again but better then nothing. Many owners are questioning his work ethics but only problem I see with purebaseball is ethics, another example is Bravard posting Doug Deakins personal email to him publicly, that was unprofessional. One more point to make about collusion following Tim A lead, when I first joined PB I used a friends credit card, recently I just got one so I am going to open up a new account and why I am not posting my name but got me thinking how easy it would be to have a dup account around here. I mean why spend 10 bucks and hope to win when you can spend 20 and be sure to win?<
