Ethics

Posted By Rob C.

Dave,

I don't question Mike's ethics a bit. I think he is a very honest guy. However, if we're talking about keeping one's word that's a little bit different. He can't keep his word with trades and not keep his word when it comes to schedules, drafts, etc. He needs to keep his word throughout the whole deal.

If he is going to tell us to consult the manual and adhere to what it says, he needs to do the same. I love this game, but the some of the issues are getting out of hand. I only have a limited amount of time to do certain things due to my work schedule (I'm sure everyone understands that) so I try to set aside time according to what the manual says the schedule should be and it doesn't work out that way.

I'm OK with the money we spend, because this game is a unique opportunity. But I spend it with the understanding that certain things will happen a certain way, and they don't. I have way too many teams, but I enjoy tinkering with them and enjoy playing the game and enjoy talking baseball with people who understand it. But we still come back to things happening a certain way at a certain time, and that is not happening.
