Fred, I applaud your efforts and ideas. Some ideas I like more than others. I do believe we should all pay annually. Either you have a team or you don't. A couple of your ideas, though, are to save time by diminishing the game. Delayed stats will create a sense of staleness for real timers. In fact, I really don't enjoy the 2nd half season much because its not current. I also much prefer a 24 team league.

The greastest inefficiencies come from leagues not being at full capacity. Dropping to 20 teams doesn't help as much as dropping the comparable number of leagues. I think a lot of guys would love to start with new teams in new leagues. I understand that some guys would feel cheated out of a team they built, but mainly they would have built their teams in a uncompetitive environment - unmanaged teams, inactive managed teams, switching owners, etc.
