How's this for a tanking example. On team in 98 Trad 1 had the lead in the 9th in 2 games recently. In one game (playing at home) he intentionally walked 5 batters in the 9th to lose the game. In the next he intentionally walked 7.

You can't get much more concrete than that.

I'd rather have unmanaged teams in the league than that type of play.
