That would be the only area of debate about changing over to PB value style draft. But it would work out same way we deal with player ratings. Befor start of season there are numberless imputs by managers about player ratings of which Mike has made some changes as I recall IE Schillings clut rating, Loduca's defense ect. Before draft I am sure we're be allowed to give some imput on player PB value rating to make things more accure before draft starts.

When its all said and done ya each of us would question some players ratings as too high or too low but I think in the end it would work out for a good accurate team overall average.

But this is another aspect of using PB value draft that excites me. Offers us more CONTROL over our teams future and more like real MLB. if we want top rookie draft pick we can make some changes to jocky for that. Move some players out that has too high of a PB value for talent with lower ratings but nearly as good.

Just like in real baseball....dumping over paid players for less paid players to either stay within salar cap or free up money so they can sign some free agents during the offseason to regroup for next year.

I'm just offering a fresh idea that would remove some past problems and offer some exciting changes to PB. But not a perfect idea(is there such a thing?) but clearly would move our simulated game closer to real baseball just a question of do most owners want to make that change?
I put it out there, did my part if other owners get excited about it they will let us all know and if so Im sure Mike will utilize it. Over the next few weeks see what kind of imput we get and take it from there. Did my part I am done talking about it, up to rest of the league managers to give league some imput now.
