It may have been 80 more in that particular league, but it isn't out of line with other leagues.

It's a weak team, only 5 of the bunts are by people hitting over .258. I would say it was a manager with a bad team trying to manufacture some runs.

Look at the whole picture, I'm hard pressed to see your "smoking gun" with this issue.
