One game is not the problem
While you guys are so worried about a single game, you are missing the greater point. MANY guys do not try to win. A huge number of opponents don't set lineups. Even drafting a prospect over a guy who can help is a form of tanking.
Teams that are not good enought to make the playoffs are rewarded for losing and penalized for winning. I guy who tanks is trying to improve his team -- whether he is blatant or subtle is no so important.
We need to fix the problem. Draft picks should be based either on PB Value or, better yet, the proposed Wins/PBV formula so that WINNING gets you better picks. This in not just for the rookie draft, but in RT leagues for the FA drafts -- when many of the top prospect come up but usually only about three deep in any draft.
Lets take away the advantage of tanking, rather than jumping all over one guy who was more obvious about it.
