First, are you calling me a cheater in your post? If so, I will have another response for you but I had a hard time understanding if your last paragraph was meant in general or was directed at me.

Second, I don't think even blatant tanking is cheating. Cheating is somehow fooling the computer to produce false results, crashing games to get a reset when your losing or colluding with another team in trades. The intentional walks is taking advantage of legitimate game play to affect the outcome, though I agree it is weak. I don't disagree that there should be repercussions when you get busted, but it is not cheating.

Third, we disagree on the rookie issue. My team was painful last year. I picked it up halfway through the year to rebuild. I got more enjoyment playing my rookies, whom I hope will be the mainstays of my team for years, and seeing my lineup of the future even if it wasn't quite ready yet, instead of starting some half decent vets who I didn't like and doubted I would protect. I probably could have won a few more games the other way, but I doubt a lot more. I do try to act like this game is the real thing. I started those lineups not with the intention of losing but because it was more enjoyable for me. What right does anyone else have to stop me from doing that?
