Did you have the pitcher selected as ACE ROTATION in the MANAGER OPTIONS settings?

I know you said he was "ace rotation" but I thought perhaps that was just his id on the status page.

Setting to ACE ROTATION sure seems to make a difference to me.

I don't buy the backwards settings on Agressive. I think it doesn't work properly no matter which way you set them. Since trying to set it backwards (less aggressive), my starters have been going longer than they were before [I'm wanting to use my relievers but no soap...].

I think the middle selection works and the rest is just weird and unpredictable. I suspect the program tries to take too many things into account and ends up doing things that don't seem to make sense.
