I don't like it. I'd keep the free agent draft the same. It's not the draft slots that prevent teams from improving...it's the poor draft picks taken by managers who don't scout adequately, or draft for the upcoming season only and don't build, etc.
We should not reward incompetence with more draft picks, but keep the FA draft random.
