The idea of preventing someone with too high a PB being sent to the farm (if uninjured) doesn't work.
For example...in my C11 team I have Oswalt. He will be ready to pitch in the 3rd game of the upcoming series (the last week of the regular season). If he starts, he will not be rested to go game 1 of the first round of the playoffs. So I sent him to the farm, and he won't pitch in the last series, and he'll be my No. 1 starter in the post-season.
If I was unable to do that, then I'd have more trouble setting up my playoff rotation.
So, I don't think it works.
