Scouts are projecting Hill to be a top tier 2B and one of the best leadoff hitters in MLB. Most of us knew he was in for a bad year when the Cubs signed Dusty, but he is away from that now. The other manager was stepping up to the plate with an offer of a high-potential young infielder in a deal for a highly over-rated above-average SP whose age we don't really know.

Dave, if you don't like the deal, fine, I can see that. But blasting the deal on this board illustrates YOUR ignorance. If you are looking only at established numbers, you should stick to the TRAD game.

How is anybody supposed to trade in this game when you have to worry that the other guy is going to try to humiliate you because of what HE doesn't know?
