I'm totally cool with valuing different players differently. I tend to over-value young guys and not everyone looks at players the same way I do. I just don't want anyone to think that I am trying to steal something for nothing.

My offer was rated one of the worst all-time and I just wanted to defend it because I didn't think it was that bad. Time may prove my offer to be bad but I don't think it will.

Either way, Dave never attacked me personally so I don't think an apology was necessary but I do appreciate the fact that he's a willing to do so.
