I made the second offer after it was posted that Sheffield was for sale. The owner accepted the first offer and rejected mine. I posted the question in an attempt to find out if my evaluation of comparitive worth is that far out of whack.
There is no suggestion of wrong-doing here, I am just ( as my post stated) curious.)
