PB Trials and Tribulations
In the last week, there have been a few instances where owners with legitimate grips have voiced displeasure with the PB game and/or Mike. I can relate because I too have had some of those same frustations. Two years ago, a computer glitch took away my chance for a post-season berth in the last game of the regular season. Somehow all my players played out of position and I committed 6 errors leading to 5 unearned runs and lost the game. Man...it burned so baddd for a long time! Playoff delays are also frustrating. I think most of us have had to let the computer (NOooooo!) play some games for us because of delays and other time committments. We have these frustrations because we are dedicated owners, who nuture our teams, play with our hearts, and are competitive by nature. As much as I did not want to hear it when it happened to me, I think we need to live with it and not lash out at Mike, especially with vulgarities. I'm sure Mike has these same feelings and more so in some cases. We live in an imperfect world and it would not be life if everything worked out for us. We live with heartbreak, deaths, disasters many times in our real lives. Why should the fantasy baseball world be any different? If you catch a bad break, voice your legitimate grip in a reasonable manner and know that its not only you this has happened to and that it probably won't be the last time. There is something innate about this game that makes us all so passionate about it. I don't know Mike personnaly, but I do believe he is giving his best effort...that's about all we can ask of anybody!
