...last year in the FA draft both pitchers offered went in the first rd of FA drafts. I am pretty sure, if you look at the comparative value of players in FA drafts, Salmon would go in the first rd as well. My opinion is that the FA draft is for fillers, young hopefuls, and older -but still productive players. Remember, to be eligible you must first be deemed not good enough to make the 27 man cut.
The 'Sure Things', while not always sure, (and sometimes just things) don't always pan out -but it's in the rookie draft that you'll find them.
