Every owner is entitled to do what they will with their team. Some basic guidelines are in place for trade approval with PB. Who know what happened? Sometimes things do slip by. I won't point a finger at PB for this one. They've got more than their fair share of work to be criticized for one trade approval.

I think the owner involved here simply made a bad trade, and should be a little bit embarrassed. Having read a post in the league, the bragging from the owner about dealing Clemens, Biggio et al for Michael Barrett and some chaff is what makes the trade sound even worse than it does on paper. IMHO.
