I think the problem this time is that the completion of games 3-5 were nearly a day late AND the next round started on time. Perhaps if there is to be a substantial delay (and it seems as if there is one regularly) a reasonable amount of extra time should be granted to allow managers to do whatever it is they need to do. The downside to this suggestion is that it will draw out the playoffs even longer. A better soultion is for PB management to get whatever help is necessary in order to keep to the posted schedule.

In hindsight Patrick it may have been better to set your lineups and instructions as soon as you completed game #5 at home. If you wanted to ammend them later after seeing the results of the other series and you had the time you could have done so. If you were not given the time (as it appears in this case) then at the least you would have had some sort of lineups/instructions of your own choosing.

Several months ago we were asked to offer suggestions to improve PB. I stated at the time that I thought the most important issue was to keep to the schedule. Like Brian mentioned in a post below I now expect that scheduled events will be late. I would trade a few extra dollars in fees to HIRE someone who's responsibility it would be to see that events run as scheduled.
